St Dunstan’s will be holding an online silent auction in the coming weeks… and we need your support! Do you make soap? Candles? Jewelry or greeting cards? Something else? Is your garden brimming over with bulbs to share? Perhaps you have a skill you could share such as income tax preparation or garden work? What about a return trip to the ferry or airport to help keep someone’s travel costs down? And to all you bakers and canners, we wouldn’t dream of holding an auction without including a section for all of your delectable goodies… from homemade preserves to banana bread and more, we look forward to your contributions! This is a great opportunity to have a rummage around the house and do some post-pandemic purging of new or gently used items including: books, pictures and other forgotten gems. (We won’t include clothing or shoes this time around, but there are plenty of great places around town waiting to receive those donations. ) If you are willing to share your craft, your time – or a combination thereof – please contact Joanne Beagle for more details. (Note: you will need to provide a picture and brief description of your item, including a suggested minimum bid where applicable.) Watch for updates on this event in the weekly bulletin. Thank you in advance for your support!
