Safe Church Update

Thank you to all so far who have gotten their Safe Church requirements up to date, we are currently over 80% complete on our list and are trying to make the final push to get the remainder done.

A few people have reported this week of seeing a reminder email or emails coming from Praesidium this week. I have inquired with the Synod Office about this and they have assured us if you have completed the module (if it is a requirement for your role) your training is good for five (5) years from the date of completion, so you can ignore these notices if you have fully completed the module.

We will be sending reminder emails from the Admin email in the coming weeks to those who are still on our list to complete and we're uncertain of your progress. We appreciate your patience with us as we cannot see Praesidium module completion from our side (only the Diocese can see this).

For all non-paid volunteers we have the option of running a training session comprising of a 34-minute video as an alternative to doing the modules online. If you would like to arrange a session please email admin@stdunstansvictoria.ca and we can arrange a session for you.
