Happy Thanksgiving!
We wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Through the challenge of this time may we remember to be grateful for life's daily blessings. Though our gatherings may be smaller and our way of being together different, we invite you to give thanks and to pray for those who are hungry for bread, love and justice. Here is a lovely table grace from the Canadian Foodgrains Bank:
Generous God,
we have been welcomed at Your table.
a feast of love and mercy
for the body and soul.
May what we have received here today
continue to strengthen our faith and our resolve
to be your hands and feet in the world,
working together so that everyone
may find a place at Your table. Amen.

As we give thanks for the bounty at our tables, may we remember to give thanks, pray for and stand in solidarity with the workers who bring this food to our tables. We invite you to watch this s
hort Thanksgiving Blessing video from Kairos.
